I twisted my right foot so badly that I couldn't
walk on it. In fact, I needed to use crutches,
because I could not put any weight on my foot.
I was at Soul Centered where Marilyn offered to
do a 10-15 minute healing on my foot. I can't
say it was better immediately, but by the same
evening my foot was improved, but very tender.
By the next morning my foot was in no pain,
almost like it never happened. thanks Marilyn

I
believe that healing must start from within, and if you seek
the light, I believe healing and transformation will come. I
also believe that navigating your path to healing by
yourself can be hard at times and help is needed to
facilitate and support your healing process. Help can come
in many forms, whether it's just talking to a friend, taking
up a hobby, praying, etc. Part of my support came from
energy healing.
The
last energy healing session I had felt like the other few
sessions I had experienced before: A stillness, currents of
energy running through me from time to time, and a semi-deep
meditative state. Nothing dramatic or life changing happened
to me as I lay there. The only thing that was different but
not too alarming was that a color kept coming to me. It was
the color blue, which I knew was associated with my throat
chakra. I didn't say anything to Marilyn at the time, but
noticed her doing a lot of work around my throat. I opened
my body to the cleansing that was occurring and tried to
stay present. After the session, I discussed with Marilyn my
experience of seeing the color blue. She agreed that my
throat chakra did need some work and she was glad to do it
at that time. "You need to speak your truth. You need to
communicate. It's your truth, it's beautiful," she told me.
I smiled and nodded, knowing exactly of what she spoke
because it was something I had been struggling with severely
for the past six months. My whole life I had struggled with
speaking my truth, and it was really catching up with me. I
had been depressed, unhappy and in the dark for the past few
months, but even more heavily for the past month. My truth
and my words were stuck inside me, and it was causing me and
the people I loved great pain.
The
next week after my energy healing was the most intense span
of time I can really ever remember. Something inside me
shifted and released. I finally spoke the words and truth
that had been bottled up inside me for too long. I spoke
from my heart. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. The
effects of me speaking from my heart have been immeasurable
and beautiful. I have such a lightness now, such a relief.
My relationships with others and myself have improved, my
life holds so much more meaning and light. I am so thankful,
so incredibly thankful!
I
sincerely believe the energy work I received helped me in
finding my voice. I believe that because I participated and
was present during the energy healing session, it was even
more beneficial. I don't think laying back and expecting to
be healed is useful to anyone; take part! Take part in your
walk with the light! I had been doing a lot of personal work
on myself up to the point of that energy session. Me
speaking my truth was a long time coming. Energy work was
the final deep breath I needed to set loose my words. It
released the old and the dark and made room for the new and
the light. And how light I am now! Energy healing is, I
believe, a holistic way in keeping your body, mind, heart
and spirit alive, vibrant and full of life. Blessings on

My
healing time with Marilyn was just wonderful! I trusted her
implicitly, and never once questioned her wonderful, gentle
nature. Unexpectedly, I had a vision, I saw my hands moving
and creating, for a few brief moments. It was a very
satisfying experience to know that it is possible to be so
open to her guidance as a healer. At first, it was
startling, to "see" something, yet Marilyn assured me that
it was a natural part of healing. The point being, it helped
confirm my love of creating, and that using my hands is who
I am. It's the clearest moment I have ever had that made me
say, yes, that's what I will continue to do with the rest of
my life. Marilyn helped me trust my process in the journey
of life.
